Q-How can I view all open positions at Mediacom?
A-You may view all open positions by clicking on the link at the bottom of the search page, View all open positions. It is important to note that only 20 open positions appear per page. Therefore, in order to view all opportunities at Mediacom, you must browse through multiple pages.
Q-How can I find all positions open where I live?
A-You may search for position openings where you live by using the drop down menu to select the State and then City you desire. It is important to note that while all locations will appear, there may not always be positions open in the area you are searching. If you do not find a position in the area you desire, you may sign up for Mediacom Connections alerts that will send you automated e-mails as opportunities that match your interests come available.
Q-How can I search for a specific type of position?
A-You may search for a specific type of position by using the drop down menu to select a Type of Position. If you cannot find a category that fits your search criteria, you may also use the Keyword section to search by a specific word.
Q-Can I search for multiple criteria at once?
A-Yes, you may search for multiple criteria at once. For example, you may wish to find a position as an Installer (Type of Position) in Florida (State), Gulf Breeze (City). It is important to note that the
more specific your search criteria, the more defined your results will be.
Q-How do I find out more information on an open Position?
A-You can find out details on a position by clicking on the job title of the open position which will bring you to the Position Description page. The Position Description page will have the Position Description and Requirements, Status and much more. You will also be able to apply directly from this page by clicking the "Apply" link which is located at the bottom of the Position Description page.
Q-How do I apply to a position of interest?
A-You can apply to a position by clicking the "Apply" link which appears on the Position Results page as well as each individual Position Description page.
Q-Can I submit a paper application?
A-Mediacom encourages all applicants to submit their applications online. If you are experiencing any trouble applying online you may click here for support.
Q-What if I do not have an e-mail address?
A-An e-mail address is required for the online application process. If you do not have an e-mail account you may sign up for a free account through the following link Click here if you do not have an e-mail address.
Q-Can I submit my resume online?
A-Yes, you may submit your resume online. In fact, by uploading your resume on our site, our software will automatically populate some fields on the application for you. You will then only need to fill in the additional fields to apply.
Q-Do I have to include my Social Security number to apply?
A-You do not have to provide Mediacom with your Social Security number for the initial application.
Q-I submitted my application, what happens next?
A-Once you have submitted your application for a position you will receive an e-mail confirmation. Mediacom will only contact you if you are selected for an interview. You can also check the status of your application from your profile in “public status”.
Q-Can I make changes or update my application after I submit
it?
A-Applicants may login and make updates to their profile at anytime. However, if the application was already submitted it cannot be changed. You may make Mediacom aware of any updates later on in the process if need be.
