| Position Description: |
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the evaluation, design, and implementation of digital video systems and products. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: •Responsible for architecture, implementation, and operational support for digital video products. •Maintain working knowledge and evaluate new technologies evolving in the cable industry such as OCAP, CABLE CARD, etc. •Maintain accurate hardware and software configuration records to support digital video products. •Manage introduction of new code objects and configurations necessary to operate digital video system by maintaining ongoing relationships with vendors code development group, product certification and program providers. •Coordinate and integrate the introduction of new digital video products with third party service bureaus including, billing systems, guide services middle ware providers and program vendors. •Develop regular reports on Digital, VOD, and HD product performance. •Assist with development of OSS system using Settop, access controllers VOD and other platform data to show the performance of our HFC plants. •Maintain accurate configuration records on digital headend and VOD platforms. •Support systems in troubleshooting digital platform and network issues. •Responsible for special projects, tracking or other duties as assigned.

| Position Requirements: |
•High School Diploma or equivalent. •Applicable degree preferred. •Minimum of two years industry experience with access controller experience required. •Experience with integration and operation of VOD, HD, and grooming platforms required. •Must be a flexible, independent, self motivated problem solver who can consistently work and enjoy a fast pace. •Strong organizational skills •Ability to handle multiple projects. •Strong communication skills in a professional atmosphere. •Ability to work flexible hours including, evenings and weekends when required. •Ability to travel to support system operations when required. |
